The End...

So this is it, the end of my swimming career. I have to say that it is quite a memorable way to end it. I was warming up for my 100m freestyle, having swum a best time of 1:08.61, with a split of 32.15 and 36.46. It was my typical warm up, tons of school was there... maybe even YOURS!

As I was saying, I was doing my typical warm up, the girl in front of me was doing breast stroke/whip kick. Here's something you have to understand about swimming, if someone ahead of you is swimming slow, you pass them, you don't slow down and swim slowly behind them. So as a freestyle kicker kicking behind this girl, I tried to pass her. She whip kicked me in the face, it hurts... I sunk under water for a second..... then kicked myself up and hung onto the lane rope "ugh..." I felt my face with my hand, then pulling it forward to see if there is blood. "No blood", I look at my hand gratefully, then placed it again on my face to ease the pain. I look at my hand again... and take a guess at what I see... blood...! The lifeguard motioned for me to get out of the pool... I was so frazzled I don't recall what exactly happened, but it was something like losing a gallon of blood and blood dripping all over my body down my elbow and my chest - just a mess. Oh, and my right front tooth chipped a little bit, see picture below:

Rest assured, it is fixed now. Other notable event:

Driving
It was really a matter of time before I get into an actual collision with another vehicle. This occured in front of the Super CandianCenter at Steeles and Dufferin, in the parking lot. For those of you that do not have experience in this arena, since it is a private property, the police would not be the adjustor to determine which party has to pay for the damage.

Here's the damage:

This is the front-right side of the car. See the dent? The scratch goes to all the way to the centre of the car.

From another angle.

Believe it or not, it was not Laney's fault. She was merely going straight, when all of a sudden, this vehicle decides to make a left but did not check the blind spot and hit into innocent lil' Laney. It happens.

Current Addicts
XM Radio - subscribe to the free trail, and I love the 20 on 20 channel, even though it's the same 15 or so songs over and over again, with a few shuffle and new songs every so often. I somehow like it, it's kind of like my playlist anyways... It's so good!!

For some reason, I am sort of addicted to udon! Hm...

Edit: The adjustor just called, since, as they claim, i was passing by a vehicle from the left while the other vehicle was making a left, i hold responsibility too. Even understanding the fact that if the other driver had checked the blind spot, the whole accident could had been avoided, they still ruled 50/50. FEEL MY WRATH!
